After some delays due to rain and inspections, the slab was poured on Tuesday 7-31, and framing began Thursday 8-2. The first part of framing is to get the main floor beams installed, which is no small feat. They have to be lifted into place by a forklift.
My freind Paul and I made a trip on Saturday, 8-4, ( Happy B-day Amy!), to see this and meet the waterfront contractor, AJ.
